For purposes of the forum rules on this page, “you” refers to you (the Customer or User) and any individual or affiliate visiting, viewing, using, or accessing worldastrologyreport.com. By accessing or using the forums of worldastrologyreport.com, you agree to abide by the rules outlined on this page, the member terms, terms of service, and privacy policy. If you do not agree to these rules, you are not permitted to use the forums. It is your responsibility to review these rules before participating on the forums. Violating these rules may result in the suspension or termination of your account and/or membership with or without warning.
1. AAGI (ALWAYS ASSUME GOOD INTENTIONS): Always assume that other users are acting in good faith, with good intentions, until proven otherwise.
2. RESPECT: Treat other members with civility and respect. Understand that people on this forum may come from very different backgrounds, hold different political beliefs or work in different astrological traditions. They may also have very different levels of knowledge around world affairs, astrology and so forth. This is no excuse for disrespect. This should go without saying, but treat others like you would like to be treated.
3. ASTROLOGICAL RESPECT: Related to the above, but worth spelling out clearly. Don’t disparage or treat other astrological traditions with disrespect. You can discuss what you’ve found personally to work and not work, what resonates with you and so on, but this should be done within the bounds of respectful conduct.
4. BIGOTRY AND HATE: No hateful language or conduct will be tolerated. This includes racism, sexism and other kinds of bigotry targeted against particular groups of people.
5. AD HOMINEM: No ad hominem attacks on other users. If you disagree with something they say, do so respectfully. Refer to the argument, not the person.
6. POLITICS: Do not make provocative political posts or attempt to score political points. All posts that touch on politics should stick to facts AND make reference to relevant astrology. I would like this forum to feel welcoming to people of all sorts of political persuasions, within reason, and so long as they act respectfully to others. Please act in this spirit. If you cannot handle interacting with people with different political beliefs, this is not the forum for you.
7. GOSSIP: Do not use the forum to gossip about other astrological practitioners, no matter what they are doing or saying “out there”. Gossip, while tempting, is bad for the soul. If you want to gossip, do so elsewhere.
8. DOXING: No doxing of other users, meaning divulging personal information about them without their consent.
9. PERSONAL CHARTS: Please don’t ask questions about your own natal chart. I understand that some of you may have burning questions about your birth chart that you’d like me or other knowledgeable users to answer. But that’s not the purpose of the forum and if I allowed this kind of question I suspect there would be too many to handle. Unfortunately I don’t have time to look at your chart. There are plenty of free astrology communities where you can ask this kind of question – or you can hire an astrologer.
10. LANGUAGE: Please only post in English. You can, of course, send PMs in any language you wish.
11. PERSONAL PROMOTION: No promoting of busines services or products on the forum, except on your profile and in the introductions thread. Any such post will be removed.
12. SPAM. Please do not spam the forum. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising post. Any post considered spam will be removed.
13. CAPITALS. Please do not post in all CAPITALS. This reads like shouting and is not necessary.
14. RED TEXT. Using red text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this.
15. OBSCENITY: No obscene posts, pornography, gratuitous violence, snuff etc.
16. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY: No torrents and illegal downloads. This will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, may be reported to local authority.
